This match was scheduled for 4/8/1983, however the ferry to IoM had a mechanical fault and Sunderland, together with other tournament teams Burnley and St.Mirren, were held up in Heysham Harbour and couldn't make their planned kick-off times. IoM line-up only as per programme (pre-match) currently.
